Advocate for Artists and Arts Organizations

Support the Arts in Medina County

·     Reward and celebrate local artists and arts organizations with Service to the Arts Awards

Nurture the Youth
·     Provide scholarships to graduating seniors to further their arts education
·     Provide grants to families with financial hardship to attend classes
·     Fund arts to educators for arts related projects in schools & child development centers
·     Provide educational arts activities for children

SERVICE TO THE ARTS AWARD

MCAC’s Annual Meeting and Service to the Arts Awards in February to celebrate the accomplishments of those who have shown a commitment to enriching Medina County through the arts. Learn more about the 2023 recipients and the Service to the Arts awards here.


ARTS ROUNDTABLE

Local artists, arts entrepreneurs, arts organizations, and arts educators in Medina County meet once a quarter with a specific topic of discussion.

ARTS WEEK

The Medina County Arts Council host the annual Arts Week every year in July. The event showcases arts performances and activities from across Medina County.


Spirits of the Past

A guided walk around Medina's Historic Square shares stories about the lives of Medina's pioneers with dramatic reenactments performed by community actors. For more than two decades, Medina's "Spirits of the Past" has been cooperatively staged by the Medina County Show Biz Company, the Medina County Historical Society, and MCAC.


  1. Arts Education Committee - provide arts programs/activities to engage the youth of Medina County

  2. Community Outreach Committee- provide organizations opportunities to make art accessible, volunteer at community activities

  3. Development Committee - review applications for grant funding or help out at fundraising events

  4. Arts Week – perform, demonstrate, or offer an activity during the event, or help out with events/activities planning, preparation, and execution
