On Thursday, June 16, 2016,  Medina County Arts Council members and friends of the arts celebrated the accomplishments of those who have shown a commitment to enriching Medina County through the arts.

This festive evening, also a fundraiser to help support the arts in Medina County, included art, music, a silent auction, and delicious hors d'oeuvres – all in the pastoral setting of the beautiful Lodge at Allardale. The evening's performers included John Burke, pianist; the Medina County Chorus “Noteworthy” group; and a group from the Wadsworth Community Band's Clarinet Quartet. Demonstrating their art skills were caricature artist George Parmelee, and fine artist Barbara Zimmerman.

Sarah Jane Ingraham attended the Cleveland Institute of Art, graduating with a BFA degree from Case Western Reserve University. She co-founded Mud Mothers Pottery Studio with Elaine Lamb, and taught elementary art. Currently she teaches art at the Medina Senior Center. She has donated her art - and countless hours - for support of the arts in Medina County.

Michael Sferro, the trustee and president of the Medina County Arts Foundation. has created partnerships and shared his technical expertise through mentoring and producing entertainment at the Medina PAC.
