September 5, 6, 7 or 8

Discover Medina’s vibrant history with a guided walk around the historic Public Square. Learn about the lives of Medina’s early pioneers through six dramatic reenactments performed by actors from the Medina County Show Biz Company.

Performances will be held on Thursday, September 5 from 7-8:30 pm, and on Friday and Saturday, September 6 & 7, from 7-9 pm.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at Ormandy’s Toys & Trains, 10 Public Square in Medina - $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under or the day of the event at the starting point of the walk beginning at 6:30 pm in the parking area of Medina County Administration Building, 144 North Broadway Street in Medina - $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

Dine with Spirits of the Past: Sunday, September 8 at 4 pm. Join us for an indoor performance and English Tea at Miss Molly’s Tea Room, 140 W. Washington Street in Medina. Tickets with the meal are $23.50. Reservations are required by calling 330.725,6830.

The walk into history ‘Spirits of the Past’ is a fun and educational program for the whole family and is presented by the Medina County Show Biz Company, the Medina County Historical Society and the Medina County Arts Council. For more information, go to the MCAC website or call 330.722.5502.

Liverpool Historical Society Presents Spirit Walk

Join us for the 10th Annual Spirit Walk on September 21 from 6-8:30 pm at Mill Stream Park in Valley City and enjoy an hour-long walk through a historic journey in time with six tales as told by local actors portraying early residents. After dark, enjoy the special atmosphere with low lighting and a campfire at various sites. Groups will leave every 15 minutes and there are some seats at each stop. This is a family friendly event.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children, and free for ages 5 and under. You may purchase advanced tickets beginning Sept. 3 at Coffee in the Valley, 6663 Center Rd., the Liverpool Township Office, 6801 School St., or Buehler's - Forest Meadows or River Styx stores. Tickets are also available at the door the night of the event.

To get to Mill Stream Park, follow Route 303 to 1/4 mile west of State Route 252, then turn north on Maple St. to the park. 

In case of rain, the event will be held at the Liverpool Community Center, 6801 School Street, Valley City.

A Fall Brunch - $20 per person. Sunday, September 15, 10:30 am at the home of Marsha Pappalardo & Jack Young, 3303 Twain Circle, Brunswick. Enjoy a delightful Sunday Brunch with Mimosas, Ham & Cheese Frittata, Spinach & Artichoke Quiche, Raspberry Scones with Jam and Mascarpone, fresh fruit, pastries, juice, coffee and tea.

Wine Tasting & Five Course Italian Dinner prepared by Chef Bryant
- $50 per person. Friday, September 20, 6 pm, Danbury Senior Living, 3430 Brunswick Lake Parkway, Brunswick.

Nespeca Farm Fall Music & Art Experience - Tickets are $20 per person. Saturday, September 28. Concert begins at 8 pm. Arrive early to walk the gardens, historic barn and schoolhouse. Enjoy original carvings by artists and hosts Chris & Becky Nespeca and works by other local artists. Then hear live music at the Barn Bash with Lodi’s own Bufflehead, a classic rock and jam band mix. A live painting will be completed inspired by the evening.

Medina Chorus 2019

The Medina Chorus is looking forward to the start of a new season in September under the direction of Jordan Saul. All singers are welcome to join us for the Winter program, particularly Tenor and Bass voices!  Weekly rehearsals begin Monday, Sept. 9 at 6:30 pm at our new location, Medina United Methodist Church, 4747 Foote Rd., Medina.

If you love to sing and are looking for an opportunity to perform challenging choral works under the leadership of a professional music director, join the 75-voice Medina Chorus this season. No audition is required, but some choral music experience is appreciated.
